How to Use the Lead Creation via Email Tool

You can access this too via the Tools  Menu:

Tools -> Lead Creation via Email

If you find that some of the data from the fields are being cut off and not all of the data is being passed over to Pulse.

You can use Content Separators to control how Pulse interprets the data being sent to Pulse and how it should be mapped to the fields within your Pulse account.

Content Separators are how Pulse looks for different sections of the email to break up the content that should be mapped to Pulse.

So if you are passing over content for a Text Area field and it’s being sent with Break Lines <be>, it would lose part of this content if there was a line break.

To avoid this, you can remove the “Break Lines <br> from the Content Separator section, as shown in the below screenshot. You can also remove other Content Separators based on how the information comes in from the email notification.
